What does "FP" mean?   2007-06-01 13:00:51   "FP" is Flashpoint. The Flashpoint is the temperature at which a fragrance will ignite. This information is important when making candles.
What is the difference between a Grade and a Concentration?   2007-06-01 12:46:51   The fragrance Grade indicates what products the oil can be used for, such as body oils or making candles. The Concentration indicates the strength of the oil. Click here for more details.
What is the difference between a Fragrance Oil and an Essential Oil?   2007-06-01 13:01:57   Fragrance oils are made of synthetic compounds and are recommended for all popular fragrance applications, while Essential Oils are comprised of all natural ingredients and are most commonly used for aromatherapy.

What is the difference between the two Grades of oil?   2007-06-01 12:55:45   The Manufacturer's Grade is recommended for candles, soaps, potpourri, and reed diffusers. The Cosmetic Grade is recommended for body oils, body products (such as lotions and sugar scrubs), incense, and burning oils.
Why do you have three Concentrations for each oil, and what is the difference between them?   2007-06-01 13:00:00   There are three concentrations available for any oil. The SOS Concentration is our standard strength oil and is suitable for all applications. The Ultra Concentration is 50% stronger than the SOS Concentration. The Extreme Concentration is about 100% stronger than the SOS Concentration.
Each oil is available in three different concentrations because each oil can be used for a wide variety of purposes. A person purchasing a fragrance to use as a body oil does not necessarily want the same strength of oil as someone who is using the oils to make soaps.
