Shea Soy Candle Blend (40 lbs): After extensive testing, we are proud to offer an incredible new wax variety. This blend of all natural shea butter and soy wax should win awards for quality and luxury. The perfect balance of Soy and Shea allows for a creamy consistency with great fragrance throw that is also skin safe!
Recommended Wick: ECO Series (paper fillament wick)
Recommended Fragrance Load: 6%-9% (.5 - .75 fl oz per 8 oz candle)
Recommended Container: Glass Votive, Aluminum Tin
Candlemaking Instructions:
- Heat wax to 160 F until melted
- Stir in fragrance oil for 1 minute, or until fully mixed
- Allow mixture to cool to 125 F, stir briefly
- Pour into pre-wicked containers. The chemistry of some fragrances may cause the tops of your candles to cool unevenly. Some people do not mind this mottled effect, as it is a handmade natural product. If you want to be sure of a smooth candle top, we recommend doing a secondary pour, after allowing your first pour to cool fully. This quantity of wax ships in a plastic bucket.
