F Christenson - 01/05/2006 I got the kit with shower gel and the multibase and will review them separately.
The Multibase: Very easy to mix up with distilled water, but I found that using a stick type hand blender did the mixing in little time. The result was a professional thick body butter (which is what I was hoping for) and it absorbed scent well. I believe that there is a preservative in here which is entirely necessary. Just using the multibase without additions will yield a pleasing butter which is utterly non greasy. It is more of a sports blend because it is not particularly humifying but will keep the skin which is not exposed pleasantly humid all day. Exposed skin does not keep the humification but does not feel dry either. So it is a "best of all worlds" item.
I would like to try incorporating shea butter into my recipe to increase the humification and take it into a luxury category.
Overall, the ease of use, and simplicity of additional ingredients makes Multbase and absolute unmitigated winner for the scent enthusiast. With the addition of more humifying ingredients, this has the potential to allow the user to be totally independent.
The Shower Gel: An unmitigated joy. Foams like mad and feels luxurious. Crystal clear, it accepts scent flawlessly. I have found it better to put in the scent and then let it sit overnight. That way the added scent blooms. This is a stunning winner just by itself. I have never purchased shower gel that I liked as much as Suspension Shower Gel.
Both of these products have everything going for them, so if you are at all interested in adding an emollient (body butter/lotion/creme, etc) to your line, and want to go into the shower gel line, then get this combination and find out what a simple pleasure it is. They have taken the guesswork and drudgery and mess out of the mix, and given you the ability to concentrate on your creativity.
Excellent, simply excellent. |
