Used XC as part of a perfume blend and it is outstanding. My hubby thought I was making pancakes, that was proof enough.

I bought the SOS and I like it, I really do. I think it smells more like Vanilla Cake than Maple Syrup. I am on the fence with this. I usually love these scents (Maple, Cakes, food scents) but I believe this is going to have to grow on me. I made hand soap with it. I keep smelling my hands...it does have a fruity or different kind of smell. I wish it were more Maple and less soap smelling...so it may be the soap and not the scent itself...??? But all in all, I like it, I just don't think this is the right name for it.

Awesome! It smells just like maple syrup! I use Ultra concentration. For bath and body products. Love it!!

I used the SOS concentration in soy candles and the throw was great. I had mixed it with vanilla and the ratio was much less maple, but the maple was what I smelled when I burned the candle and it was delicious so it may take over for any lighter notes if you blend it with other scents. Even then though this is great scent for the fall and winter which I think would be wonderful used alone.
