For centuries, shea butter has been renowned for its rich moisturizing and healing properties. Infused with cocoa butter, aloe vera and vitamin E, this wondrous lotion hydrates and restores the driest skin to a shiny, supple softness, while maintaining the skin’s youthful appearance. We use a high level of shea butter in our products because it connects so harmoniously with the skin. Known chemically as Butyrospermum Parkii, shea butter has been used for thousands of years and is known for its many healing properties. We only use shea butter that has been extracted using traditional methods and so has retained many of these healing qualities. Shea butter is a natural source of UV sun protection and is an extremely effective skin moisturizer because of its high content of non-saponifiable fats, including keratin, allantoin and Vitamin E, which are integral to the process of moisturizing and retaining the elasticity of the skin.

Cocoa butter enables our lotions to be as effective in winter as in summer. The cocoa butter also evens out skin tone and, over time, can help minor blemishes and scars fade. Cocoshea products are further infused with vitamin E and sweet almond oil, reinforcing the lotion’s moisturizing properties and ensuring soft supple skin.
