Susan A - 12/21/2009 I am still undecided on this one. I used a 1:1 mix with DPG of the SOS concentration for incense. I was not impressed with this OOB. The scent was good, but very, very mild. I agree with another reviewer that called it "plain old vanilla". It is... if you can smell it. Once the incense was burned, the scent was somewhat stronger and might be acceptable to those who want a mild, unobtrusive, mellow scent. It is very simple, single-layer scent. I am considering blending this with other scents like cinnamon or lavender. I hope in those instances it will remain unobtrusive and complement the other scent rather than mask it like a heavier scent might. But as far as a stand alone vanilla scent, I might have to try something a touch more complex, or just upgrading to a higher concentration of this scent. |
vickie n - 02/10/2009 another good vanilla smell its great used it in extreme |
Amy R - 12/15/2008 I am not a "vanilla" person. I purchased this to use in a gift. I'm mixing the SOS Concentration with sandalwood, jasmine and musk. As far as vanilla goes it's spot-on. Fairly strong fragrance when I opened the bottle. |
Tammy B - 08/11/2008 purchased ultra concentrate. Smells like vanilla frosting. Used in body care products. |
Rachel S - 03/07/2008 Used sos for soap and lotion, and blend to make other scents. Like it very well. |
