Adrienne C - 06/03/2009 sos concentrate - I can't even pin down the vanilla aroma in this. It's more of a coffee and burnt aroma. My least favorite of all the vanillas I've tried from SOS. |
Shakia P - 06/30/2008 I purchased the Ultra concentration for use in perfume and oil burning. It's very strong. A little too strong but nice and sweet. I plan to mix it with other FO's to add sweetness. A good buy. It will not go to waste. |
Karen L - 03/25/2008 I do not find this vanilla to be sweet or creamy at all. Tones down the harshness of some other fragrance oils and make great men's colognes when used as a blender. Purchased the ultra grade. A+++++++ |
Kellie P - 02/14/2008 (SOS used - bath& body mediums - salts, gels, oil, creme)
Funny when I 1st got this I was like -- cookies? coffee?
I guess I was expecting that vanilla extract scent....you know so warm you can almost taste it?
This isn't it ---
But it's a good blender -- when I need to smooth out or soften a scent -- I drop in some vanilla -- it's my cure all scent. |
Ernest R - 11/07/2006 The extreme concentrate of this vanilla is sweeter than expected, but makes a good addition to lampe fuel blends if kept to low levels. I settled on 2ml vanilla per liter of alcohol, with larger measures of the other frangrances in my blend and found that it isn't as cloying as some other vanillas. For lampe berger type effusion lamps, all of the SOS brand oils I've bought in extreme concentrate have been far superior to fragrances bought from other sources.
Extreme concentrate oils are the best choice for lampe fuels, and they carry their scents through the catalytic burner with no adverse change in fragrance. I've found my source for fragrance oils to use in lampe fuel blends: Save on Scents.com. |
