I have the SOS grade, purchased mainly for roll-ons. This smells like straight lavender to me. I didn't smell any musk. Even at the SOS grade it's strong enough for body use. If I do add it to my line, it won't be as lavender musk. I already have straight lavender, so I'll probably just use it for m&p soap for myself, or just rotate it into my regular lavender scent products. I also might experiment with it and add a little musk and see what happens. It's a nice scent (if you like lavender), but since it's advertised as lavender musk, I have to give it a failing grade. Sorry SOS; this is one of your rare disappointments....

Brought in sos manufact grade for use in perfume making. Very strong overpowering lavender scent. Thought would have had a softer muskier smell with hints of lavender. Will not buy again.

Reminds me of the room spray that I have spent too much money on. This makes it easier for me to make it when it is needed.

extreme concentrate, out of bottle the scent is a soapy type of lavender, I could not smell any musk. would be good for bath products.

SOS Manufaturer grade. Used in soy products. Not very pleased with this one. Smelled like an imitation, weak, lavender. Could not clearly detect any rose and certainly not any musk. Scent almost completely dissapeared all together in hot throw. Cold throw was weak. Maybe a higher concentrate would work better but there are too many other great scents to use without wasting any more money on this one....
