I am wearing the original Alien as I write this. I used the extreme concentrate at 25% dilution to make a parfum. After letting it rest for 8 weeks, I am finding that when initially sprayed, the original has more jasmine, and the sos version has a berry note and is syrupy. In the drydown they smell in the same "vein" but not exact....

It was just okay for me. I've be n wearing Alien for 8 years & this really doesn't smell like it. It's a good fragrance but I wouldn't call it Alien Type. It smells wonderful in my bath salt & scrubs tho....

I purchased Alien Ultra, and I must say it smells like the original. I love the long last it has on my skin even after I shower. It's so concentrated that I'll be making mine into perfume and Maybe next time I'll try Ultra. Thanks SOS!...

I used the SOS in soy candles and bath salts for my friend's birthday. She said they were absolutely amazing, strong and a good interpretation of the original. She is very critical so I take what her review is to heart and will definitely be ordering more of this fragrance in the future....

(Ex.Con.) I have never smelled the original so I can't compare this to it. This scent is unique and intriguing! It has a vintage perfume feel. All I can detect is sweet orange blossom and a strong jasmine note that is complex; there is indole right at the forefront and a powdery effect. But don't worry, the indole is not gross and doesn't smell like moth balls. There is something in this that is slightly dill-like. Maybe it is elemi? Or a light citrus that is interacting with the other notes? I have heard people describe the original as having a grape note but I don't detect that at all with this dupe. This is a great scent! Very feminine....

when I first smelled the perfume just a few months ago I thought: OMG I have GOT TO GO TO SOS to see if they have the oil. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it smells FANTASTIC!!! NOW I am going to get the perfume and wear them together....

In my previous review I said I loved the Alien but that was when I ordered the SOS strength and hadn\'t actually used it yet. I made soy candles and had no hot throw! I saw in the small, very hidden page on SOS that the ultra should be used with soy candle making. So I took a chance and reordered Alien in the ULTRA and my soy candles and tarts have a STRONG hot throw now!!! I am so happy!! But I just have to forewarn others who use soy to not waste your time on the SOS or extreme when using soy. The ultra is a must! I watched and read and searched for a remedy. I learned that only a few oils work well with soy candles. Alien happens to be one that works well in the ULTRA!...

I had to sign on to SOS and write a review on Alien!! It is beyond what I expected!! I made tarts with this and they are UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Just an outstanding scent! All my friends HAD to take a bar!! Never smelled the original but this is a great scent. I also have Angel which seems a little stronger and almost a little masculine when I first apply it but the dry down is fantastic. I can't say I like one more than the other. They are both really beautiful scents. Purchased Ultra....

Very true to the original! I use xc in lampe berger oil, 8 ml fragrance to 250 ml alcohol. It smells delicious! Very happy I got this!
