This is a scent I often consider ordering but this is first time trying. Smells like sweet moss, resins, and Christmas tree. Ordered in sniffie sample for perfume application.

i got a sniff sample in this because I was curious what it smelled like. The reason I got it was because it was one of the anointing properties of the bible. It did not smell like pine needles to me. This smell like a bitter weed such as dandelion. Almost like you're sitting in some dandelion weeds. I can't say whether I like it, or I don't....

SoS's Galbanum has become one of my most valued blending notes, adding a gorgeous deep vegetal layer that grounds all sorts of blends. It smells like bruised fern stems, bitter, green, woodsy & very natural. I use it in masculine blends a lot, & to add depth to classic florals. A little goes a long way, so the higher price point isn't a deterrent....

(Ex. Con.) I have never smelled real Galbanum on it's own, but I will try to describe what this version smells like. This scent is reminiscent of fallen pine fir needles that become sweet after laying on the ground. I also detect some dry pine wood mixed with a bit of cedar and a muddy dirt note. I think this would be really good in outdoor scents....

NIce bite-y green bitter galbanum. Works great for proper chypre blends. Has that lovely forest-floor edge that I expect from the real thing.

Got this in a Sniffie Sample. To me, this smells like a dead on match for dried pine needles on the forest floor. Not "piney" really, but a definite forest scent mixed with earth. Very nice!
