I buy oils to mix into perfumes, so mostly I order single note items, but this one tempted me too much during October. I bought the sniffie and tried it raw on the skin. It's interesting, but not something I can use for perfumery. The first sniff smells of grapes and licorice, plus a metallic note, then it dries towards lemon lime wax with a warm hint of spice of some kind, very faint, but like warm skin. The lemon-lime wax scent is odd but not offensive, but very hard to blend, and the final dry-down leaves an odd plastic note that I definitely can't use. As other reviewers had better luck, I'd say this is best for candles or incense and not as a perfume oil....
