Strangely dry and bitter in comparison to other Black Opium versions. Scent changed to strange spice and faded quickly in candles. Turned to a funky rubber smell over time as a fabric spray. Only good as perfume? So strange....

Liked my sniffie so much I bought a pound of the Extreme. Mixed it with Parasoy wax at 9%. Cold throw was good and hot throw weak. Tried CP soap at 80 degrees. and it heated up and accelerated wildly . My tiger stripe swirl suddenly became a "plop and drop". Definitely in my top three "race against the clock" experiences. I guess I will have to use it for body lotion, perfume and room spray. That said, I still love this fragrance....

Every woman needs this in her life! If you like those sexy, moody, night time "get you in the mood" type scents, this is it! It's an absolute party for your nose and I sold out of it in less than 24 hours. I bought the SOS concentrate and not had a single complaint from my customers. This fragrance is divine!...

I have a small bottle of the actual perfume, that I used for comparison. This is about as close as it gets! The depth and longevity is perfect, even the lingering base notes are nearly identical to the original! I will definitely be ordering more of this!...

This is a fantastic scent! I mix it with a little something else to really bring out the "light" side of it. Definitely more mature than your run-of-the-mill sweet, fruity fragrances out here, but I cold see women of all ages wearing this. Delightfully complex and strong scent....

Very beautiful, pretty close to the original, that's why I am sad to say it is totally unsuitable for cold process soap. I tried one of my regular formulas (coconut oil with 20% superfat) and it turned super glop-tastic. It will be some nice-smelling glop, but not easy on the eyes :(
The SOS lotion I got with this scent is wonderful and I use it daily....

Purchased a sniffie of SOS concentration and evaluated on a blotter. This is a very good authentic dupe of the original Opium Black (which I own and wear). I would definitely purchase this for my body care products....

i'm not familiar with the original scent, but this is a grown woman's sort of gourmand--pleasant and sweet with some cherry qualities, orange, and a bed of candied vanilla and wood.

Delicious. Got a sniffie in Xtreme for perfume blending. Smells very close to the real thing, and also a little similar to authentic Flower Bomb by Victor and Ralph. Sexy, deep, and complex without being overbearing-- a real winner! I look forward to soaping with this, but so far it translated impeccably for use in a body and hair perfume base to test....

I received this in the Extreme as a free sample and all I can say is WOW! A beautiful fragrance, expensive smelling (does expensive actually have a smell?) and will put it into solid perfume. Elegant and feminine....
