Got this in error (I actually wanted the straight black pepper, not the type), so I was a little surprised by it, but it's quite pleasant. I can detect subtle woods and spices, and some earthy notes and perhaps a bit of citrus. I'm not familiar with the original fragrance, so I can't compare on how good a dupe it is, but it is very nice. I actually used it in a perfume blend, but this would also be very nice in a lightweight lotion, a splash or aftershave, soap, etc. This is, as I understand it, a fragrance marketed to men, but I can't see any reason why it won't work on a woman, as well (I wear "men's" fragrances regularly, and nobody has ever been able to tell or commented than I smell like a guy!). I'd say receiving this was something of a happy accident....
