The quality of the product is the same as usual but it now comes in a bag instead of in a jar. Turns out I prefer the jar version better as the bags don't hold up very well during shipping. It is what it is....

While this cocoa butter is wonderful in lotion bars and balms, it is neither Colorless or Odorless. Infact it has a very strong odor that I could smell before opening the jar. The color, while not as dark as unrefined cocoa butter, it has a definite yellow color. And it is very brittle and extremely hard to get out of the jar.
My only issue with this is that I was expecting refined.
As far as a cocoa butter goes, it goes on very smooth and the chocolatey scent woks very well for "natural" products or products without added scent. I love it as a mild version of cocoa butter and will probably buy it again now that I know what to expect, but i'll have to look elsewhere for a more refined version....

I purchased the 1 lb tub for use in body butters, the product is very hard, and not very easy to get out of the container, not sure if it is only my tub that is this way..it melts and blends well with shea to make a fantastic whipped body butter when combined with the mutlibase...

It is great for stretch marks. After I had a baby I had a lot of stretch marks and I wanted to use a natural product and ad my own ingredients like vitamin E. It has worked great!

This is great for locking dread locks when it is melted with soy wax and lays clear, and holds new growth for natural hair style.

Tthe "body butter" I make from equal parts of SOS's coco butter, mango butter, shea butter, and multibase has become my most popular product. Add an equal part of water and 3 oz. of emu oil and you have the lightest most delicious body butter that you can scent anyway you like. This coco butter is extremely emollient and a wonderful addition to any skin care product....
