Bought in Extreme and I use for oil perfumes and candles. Very earthy and woodsy. I do love this scent and it is the best Cypress scent I have bought so I will continue to buy from here when done.

When I received my sample I thought whew what an earthy scent. Put it down on my table in front of me, while I looked at my other samples. When I thought about cypress again, picked it up and knew oakmoss was what I'd blend it with. Very happy with those 2 together. Standard concentration, I made incense with them together....

I bought a sample of this in extreme to try in CP soap. Upon smelling it, I liked it, but I could not imagine it as a soap sense. As other reviewers have said it's very earthy and woody. But it's also very clean and pure smelling. I ended up making incense with it and it is amazing. It is perfect for meditation, very other-worldly smelling. The first day I burned it, my boyfriend came home from work and commented on how nice and calming the house smelled. So to me it is perfect: earthy, woody, clean, pure, and calm....

got the sos concentration. a very close scent to the e.o, at a better price. i use a lot of cypress in my metaphysical blends, is an awesome oil for rememberance, and major life changes way beyond what i expected for the price...

(Ex. Con.) This does smell like cypress. Like sticking your nose right up to a branch that has broken off the tree. It's strong OOTB and I agree that it smells like a forest floor with a lot of wet soil. After it dried down on a strip, the forest/soil notes went away and what was left was a fresh, lightly sweet wood smell with a hint of lemon....

Excellent base scent. Woody, a bit nutty with a green feel like a forest floor. Excellent for blends. This is a favorite for me and better than other cypress FOs I've tried. Lasts great in perfumes and doesn't overtake other notes while staying true....

SOS used in palm wax
I was really happy with this scent. It came out stronger while the candle was burning than while the oil was mixed, but still blended nicely with the other scents before and after. I second it being a good replacement for the EO....

Very nice fragrance and comes close enough to the essential oil that it's a great replacement if you can't afford or can't work with the EO for some reason.

SOS=used in soy and cotton seed blend wax. 1 oz per half pound. not as good of result as i was expecting. Maybe try it in ultra con. may work better in sprays.
