I see alot of people saying this doesnt smell like Gasoline, your right , it doesnt, but its not suppose to. If you have ever been to the drag strip or even drove behind a car running 110 and up octane then you would know that high octane race fuel doesn't smell like gasoline, it has a sweet smell that smells freaking awesome. This product is pretty close to that smell, if you have ever been to the race track, the 1/4 mile or any event where cars are running high octane then you will love this smell. If your looking for the smell of unburnt gasoline like you would smell at the local gas station when filling up your minivan then try the Low octane counterpart instead. I would give it 5 stars but I give it 4 cause there is a candle out there that smells exactly like race fuel, where as this one is just really close. I purchased the SOS oil, cologne, lotion and candle and am happy with all of them....

it does, inexplicably, smell like gasoline. even more inexplicably: it dries down to a comforting, even enjoyable "male cologne" base.

This scent is a winner. Whenever I wear it, most folks want to know what I'm wearing and when I tell them I'm wearing a scent called gasoline, it opens up the door for conversation. That door for conversation leads to me selling high octane gasoline - chaching all the way to the bank! I simply love the fragrance. The tea tree scent is definitely in da building. The tea tree is overpowering; however, when the scent mixes with the body chemistry, it changes and is not noticeable. I plan to continue using this unique fragrance....

Sweeter smelling than low octane. I prefer the low octane scent in oil form but this one has a much better hot throw in the soy wax I use, in my opinion.

This one definitely smelled like gasoline when I opened the bottle. It overpowers my perfume scents at first, but then fades back to a softer background note and loses the gasoline feeling. Interesting and I love playing with it, but it doesn't stay pure gasoline through dry down, so definitely get the sample size first and try it with your planned application....

This is is as it says High Octane, not like the regular gas you pump but closer to a racing fuel smell, they guys around our house love it! I used to SOS concentration in a paraffin soy blend wax, but wonder if the the other concentrations may give it a stronger smell when burning....

This one smells to high heaven when making it. Takes longer to dry also. Some men and women found it cute, but did not buy the it because of the name. I guess I will try low gas on. Looking to have this as a full line, we have 6 car shows a year come to town....

Well, well. Of all the scents I purchased this round, I was most looking forward to gasoline, high octane. However, it smells more like tea tree oil than gasoline. I think the low octane smells more like it than high octane. Gasoline is one of my favorite scents in the world but this one just didn't quite have the robustness I'm looking for....

This definitely smells like gasoline. I received the SOS as a sample. I honestly don't know what I would ever do with something that smells like gasoline. It's not at all something that I would want to wear. I would give it 5 stars for the duplication of the fragrance; however, an average of 3 stars because I think this is something I would never use....
