I am very disappointed with this dupe of Canoe, Extreme strength . I made HP soap with it hoping the scent would improve with time. It's been over a week since I made and cut the soap and there has been no improvement in the scent. My husband has worn Canoe for years and this smells nothing like it. It smells like the folks making the dupe placed a high alcohol version on whatever they put into the chemical analysis machine and all it sensed was strong alcohol and none of the fabulously sexy potential that is Canoe! If the developers had let the alcohol evaporate BEFORE placing it into the machine, I feel they would have captured the true scent of this wonderful cologne. Saveonscents, Please give it another try in the development!...

My father used to wear this scent - better than the original Made HP soap with the Extreme - gave a bar to my son. He said: "Wow"

Purchased the XC and haven't tried it yet in my formulations, but is smells exactly like the Canoe my father used to wear

I used an Extreme Concentration sample of this fragrance in a batch of CP soap. The fragrance behaved itself and didn't accelerate trace. Once cured, it smelled very close to the original. The bars still have a strong scent a year and a half later. Be forewarned: the vanilla in this scent does discolor the soap to a light tan, but it's fitting and it's a great fragrance....

Purchased Ultra Concentrate. Used in M&P white soap base. I was asked to make this in a soap for a former Naval officer as this was what he wore all the time. It smelled close to the original OOB according to him but it separated in the soap base causing the soap to be soft and mushy even when using a hardener. Not good for soap but might work great in other products....
