Never having had the $$ to buy the original, I have no idea how close a match it is, but I do wonder why it's so different from the description. I've read about this fragrance on other websites, too, and everyone says it's supposed to be mostly light florals... I'm not smelling that at all ! I almost wonder whether I was sent the wrong oil, because I smell grapefruit. It's nice--better for an oil burner/home fragrance than as a personal fragrance, although I'll still wear it--but boy, it's a really pronounced citrus smell and not floral at all. (I suppose it could be the apple that's supposed to be in there, but if so it's a Granny Smith, not a Fuji... it's quite brisk. Very refreshing, and light and nice, and definitely unusual as a perfume so I'm not surprised people have asked other reviewers what they were wearing, but not what I was expecting at all.)...
