As I promised in my review below, I continued testing the (Ultra) Key Lime Pie fragrance in M&P soap as well as a parasoy blend candle. The load for the M&P bar of soap was 5% and 9% for the candle. The soap was a little more fragrant than the CP soap I reviewed it in (below), but still nowhere near where I would have liked it to be. The candle had a very light cold throw and almost no hot throw. This fragrance smells nice and graham crackery and "bakeryish" OOB, but hardly any real lime top end like a key lime pie should. I feel it gets lost in everything I try it in. I really wanted to like this fragrance, but I just couldn't get it to shine....

I purchased this in Ultra concentration and I found it strong, tangy and sweet smelling OOB. Very close to a key lime pie crust, although I wish there was a stronger lime element to it. It did not perform well for me in the CP soap (6 % fragrance load). The scent very light in the cured bar, but was barely detectable in the soap lather. Disappointing, but I still really like the fragrance. I will try it in M&P and a candle and report back. Maybe it's just not able to stand up to cold process soaping....

Purchased this in Ultra to use in an oil warmer; it's quite lovely, though definitely heavy on the graham cracker element. I plan to add a little lime fragrance oil to balance it a bit. That said, it's a beautifully sweet, creamy blend with a subtle lime swirl that sneaks in over time. I'm happy I purchased it....

When I first smelled the oil, I thought the "graham cracker" smell was overpowering, but after I used it with soy wax for tarts and tea lights, the soft lime smell came out more and the graham cracker mellowed out. Very, very delicious. I got it in the extreme, and will stick with that because it's a little bit lighter of a fragrance....

I just bought this scent and it smells nice. I got in the Ultra and I used it to for my soy tarts. You can smell the lime in it I would like a little more of a bakery scent to it. But overall lovely.

AMAZING scent----just like the real thing! It's amazing how our sense of smell is all based on chemicals LOL! I used to live in Florida and Key Lime Pie was served everywhere...brings back memories! Used SOS in home fragrance oil and it's PERFECT!...

although never had key lime pie I know what is in it and i have to say this is nice scent can smell the cracker and lime etc. used extreme in shea butter and kept scent reasonably well although think i needd a fixer to keep scent longer...

This is a very delicious FO. It was an instant hit with customers. I already have offers for more. I used EC to make harmony blend candles. The hot and cold throw is wonderful. I also used it to make reed diffuser oil. Unfortunately the FO did not mix into reed diffuser base....

Used SOS concentration in alcohol based body spray and with shea butter lotion. Smells exactly like it should, lime, whipped cream, everything, it's amazing how they can pull all these scents out. Really smells good enough to eat!...

I am not a sweet type soap person in general. I think of myself as a floral snob, if you will. However, this FO is fabulous! I was completely amazed at how closely it matched the complex scent of a key lime pie and at how much I loved this scent. I recommend this one. Oh and the B&B I made the soap for loved it too....
