Ordered sniffie sample and tested its dry down on a piece of cotton. To me this smells like a softer high end perfume that leans more towards a deeper androgynous musk, just a pinch pretty, not at all overtly woodsy. Not sure yet if it's a good fit for my blending, but this would be great for anyone going for a more upscale/sophisticated interpretation of "Birch and X" blends....

Not like true real birch but not totally off either. More cinnamon in this than anything else.

Wonderful like cracked birch has a nice low note that sticks around for hours and hours, perfect for a woody backdrop. Goes well with Insurrection Pure II to boost the lack of woody notes. This is a must for any collection....

I got this as a sniffie with some other fall scents, looking for a really good dried leaf fragrance. This one hits the mark! A touch peppery, not at all "dirty". I'm making an Autumn themed incense blend with this, will use the Ultra concentrate....

Starts with a faint peppermint edge like real birch bark, and dries with a gorgeous scent of dried leaves over dead grass. Smells like late autumn. A gorgeous scent. I bought more and will be experimenting with blends. I got the SOS standard concentration and use the oils in perumes....

This is one of the most accurate "bark" scents I've found. It's intense and and requires a "getting acquainted" period, but I'm glad SoS offers it! Don't stop, please!
