Purchased in an SOS sniffie.
This was a risk, based on the other reviews, and I think I should have gone with my original hesitation. Sweet and choking, with an unpleasant mildew smell, like a cellar that had once been flooded and was never aired out properly afterwards. Hard pass....

Industrial, atmospheric. Accurate but could also be used for other uses. Purchased in SOS concentrate

Far too sweet. Got this in a sniffie, and just didn't like it.

This was more dry wall and mildew to me, like a basement. Not unpleasant, but more drywall than cement. I already have and love SOS's Basement, though, so I don't need to add this to my scent library. Yes, we're all still hoping for a true petrichor! But this is a drywalled, damp basement. Great for that. I tried the sniffy like perfume...

This fragrance oil honestly blew my mind. Ordered a sniffie sample and tested its dry down today on a piece of cotton. It is the exact scent in my memory of cement sidewalks wet with water (rain or sprinkler) on a hot Summer day. I just adore this scent with how realistic and nostalgic it is, very impressed!...

This is a good construction chemical smell. A perfect novelty scent. Got this in the sniffie sample and will be good for mixing.

Why would you need a "cement" fragrance oil?? I'm not sure..... but if you do, this is it! Smells just like freshly- poured cement. Heavy, wet, and really quite nice. Could be a good stand- in for "basement". It's very strong OOB, but tones down on skin (SOS sniffie)....

This is a really well done scent. It's wet cement though. And not to be confused with petrichor-- that smell that we're all looking for. It's moist, and has almost a dry-mint note to it.

i don't get cement from this at all--more tea tree, damp, and something almost play-doh that comes out on the skin.

You don't know that you need this, but you do. Got an Extreme sniffy for testing in blends for perfume and soy candles. Spot on to real cement with a modern twist that makes it suitable for real-life use in scents if you're creative. Definitely a niche scent and not for everyone, but feels high end and blends excellently....

I bought cement based on all the reviews as the feedback was exactly what I was looking for in this perfume version as I sway towards the more obscure, old factory, industrial scents having very acidic skin so am always on the lookout for powerhouse fragrances from Lucky Scent to industrial on SOS and cement was not one of them but, that's just me as all the other reviewers got what they were looking for. I guess i'll have to stick with my powerhose scent that never lets me down, motor oil so much like wearing Castrol GTX!...

This scent is very dead on. It is a very heavy wet scent but definitely smells like the scent of freshly mixed or laid Cement. I was going to use this as a blend for an experiment that I was wanting to try. Overall if your looking for a new building or fresh cement this is definitely right on. I am going to be using it in soy wax and tarts, it's concentrate....

I wrote a review on this scent already; that sweetness I was picking up on is definitely of the "Play-Doh" nature. Strange that a cement fragrance would be so "Play-Dohey" but it is!

This is very basementy, which I love. It does however have a peculiar sweetness; almost like a chocolatey lotion. SOS concentrate is pretty fragrant.

SOS concentration, was planning on using it in an oil burner. I don't think I will after smelling it, though. Reminiscent of cement, but there's a really strong chemical/cleaner/unnatural edge to it. I think it could add something to other fragrances if used in small concentrations, but there's something "off" about this. Sad, I was really hoping it smelled like wet cement - one of my favorite smells ever....

Yup! Smells like cement; like cold pavement on a rainy day. Great standalone scent with enough artistic nuances to be both realistic and delightfully pleasant. Smells almost aquatic, yet still remains very dry and without being "dirty" or earthy. I detect a slight musky melon note that heightens the overall scent and makes it wearable in a body spray or cologne. This is a unisex scent. Works amazingly well at boosting floral fragrances, or adding a fleeting twinge of dry coolness to a masculine blend. Cement is a great fragrance oil! Used Extreme Con....
