Not a good scent for me confused on the elements

I agree that this doesn't smell at all like Tom Ford's Noir de Noir, sadly. That being said, it does have its purposes. It is a blend of cinnamon bark and raw cedar, very two-note, a faintly spiced wood. Boring and not layered, but it might make a good cedar variant for people looking for something a bit different as their wood note. No stars for being a Noir de Noir dupe, but four stars for being a very usable, staple fragrance for blends and perfumerie....

I use this one to take the sweet edge off and add dimensionality to other, more linear fragrances. It creates a complexity and nuance the overall blend - making it more sophisticated and adult. It's a nice, distinctive unisex scent on its own... especially for customers who complain about scents being 'too sweet' or 'flowery'....

If this is TF's version,then it doesnt smell anything like it.Not a very nice scent im afraid.
