The smell of this is definitely rich of vetiver, but when used as a fragrance for a male, I find it to be a bit too sweet. The opening has some good throw, but settles down close to the skin. Its very close to the original Tom Ford if you need more confidence in buying. This does have better longevity than the original and IMO sweeter....

I bought this in the extreme concentration and though I have not smelled the original, I wasn't crazy about this scent. There was nothing wrong with it, other than it being too mild. There was nothing distinguishing about this fragrance. It does have a soft, clean scent, which would work well for some men....
