This review is for the SOS concentration and initially I was only going to give 2 stars but I think I can blend this and make it work. The main reason I'm not in love with this oil is because it smells soapy and powdery. Soap doesn't necessarily smell bad in general but if you're familiar with the icky smell of Ivory then you'll get an idea of the soapy scent I'm referring to. There is the underlying classic fragrance of amber here but I'm not getting the warm, floral, spiced fig notes mentioned in the description. My characterization so far is based solely on sniffing straight from the bottle and dabbed on a piece of paper. I thought maybe it would benefit from warming so I put some in my oil burner. My nose started filling with "nope". Disappointed, I dumped the oil and began washing the glass bowl with some Dawn "Fresh Rapids" dish detergent, when the two scents met they created a really pleasant fragrance! While I'm still kinda miffed about this amber not being a floral spicy amber...
