I haven't tried the original, so can't speak to it being an accurate duplication, but I got a sniffie because the notes are so interesting. On the skin, I smelled a sweet, complex peony-based floral perfume with woody incense notes to temper the sweetness. It dries down to a powdery rose, which I like less. My sister got a light fruity aquatic type scent without wood, in an oversweet sugar cream base that wouldn't settle on her skin. Again, the original might have acted this way on her too, but overall, we were both less than impressed, though it's a nice scent for the most part....

Got this as a sniffie in extreme conc . Initial reaction was that it was quite pleasant. Made it into a perfume spray and all I can say is LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. It's delicate and just becomes a part of you as you wear it, just gently wafting about. Lesson learned. Don't judge scents OOB. Not too expensive either. Can feed my mini perfume addiction and try out scents I couldn't ordinarily afford to buy....

Tried in Extreme concentration ~ I was really pleasantly surprised by this scent as the longer I wore it, the better it got! Patchouli essential oil can give me a head ache as it's so heavy. 'White Patchouli' is nothing like that! Initial sniff 'White Patchouli' is creamy white flowers with a mellow woody/citrus base. A really delightful, soft floral, an understated but beautiful fragrance. I personally think this fragrance is more feminine than unisex.
I wear it just as it is, perfect scent for day time when you don't what to wear anything too over powering. Will also try some in a body lotion for layering... Love it xx...

Named appropriately. A beautiful lighter, sweeter version of patchoulli without the heavy headiness of traditional patchouli. Still earthy in a pleasant way. Strong in wax. Extreme con in Ecosoya 135....
