This is one of those scents with what I call a "difficult" musk, meaning it sometimes smells amazing, sometimes smells awful, and sometimes can't be smelled at all! The original was the same way for me, I was certain i hated it on first sniff, but I think my nose just needed to learn about this musk. That said, this scent benefits from sitting at least a month, after that it is so so so lovely. The orange blossom and musk are seriously so elegant! Love it, just let it sit a while if you don't like it at first. Purchased as sniffie sample in Xtreme concentration, for perfume making....
