I ordered a sniffie (Extreme), used as a perfume straight on my wrist. I have not smelled the original, but I LOVE this. It's leather and cedar to me, and smells so good. Lasts probably about 6 hours as well, better than most oils I've tried....

If you're expecting it to be the same as Santal 33, it's not even close..
But the scent itself is not a bad scent!

Received as a sniffie sample, I need more time to wear this one and see if it develops into other notes...it does smell like cucumber in the opening.

I like this one very much--I haven't smelled the original so can't compare to that. I got a sample because I liked the description of the notes and I love wood fragrances. I've been using it as a personal scent.
The opening is a little strange--others have described it as cucumber, which I get faintly, but more overtones of violet. This fades quickly and a beautiful, lasting dry sandalwood with a touch of cedar emerges. A winner....

I think I need time to wear this a while. I'm not sure its.. but it's very different. I think I might even love this one with some time. I've never smelled anything like this before.

I've worn this almost constantly since i got the sample, it's very very close to the original! Very creamy sandalwood, then leather, amber and musk in the drydown, lasts 12+ hours on me. LOVE! Purchased as sniffie sample in Xtreme concentration, for perfume making....
