Perhaps I'm not hitting all the notes on the reviews as several have vanished. I tried the sniffy sampler of this then bought the 1oz bottle standard concentration for my own perfume making projects. it's divine. I adore this pumpkin note, slightly buttery, yes, but also a bit more like the pumpkin squash than anything I've yet found besides SOS's pumpkin and fig. The candied figs in this one are chewy, rich and purple, there are no spices (thank goodness) and the woody under-note smells of dried hay or straw. It's wonderful and blends very well with vanillas and other notes. I highly recommend this as an alternate to the usual pumpkin pie scents. I have used this in lotion,soap and perfume. I will buy the higher concentrations when I need more as the standard doesn't last as long as I'd like on the skin, but it's gorgeous while it does....
