I purchased this in Xtreme concentration and used it in roll-on perfume and M/P soap. This is not a sweet, soft scent. This is very heavy on the lavender. It is very strong. I only needed a little for M/P soap. Surprisingly, the perfume oil was not overwhelming. If you like lavender, this is closer to an essential oil fragrance rather than a calming, soothing fragrance. This is great for bath products, because it will wake you up....

I do not know where the Palmarosa is but this fragrance is the best "lavender" scent ever. I only buy extreme and a little goes a long way. I make a facial serum and only need a small amount. Highly recommend for lovers of lavender!...

Bought for use in cold process soap. Performed beautifully, no acceleration or discoloration. I don't know what palmarosa smells like, but this seemed like a lavender scent that was truer to lavender essential oil than most lavender fragrance oils I have tried. I am giving it four stars because you may not be happy with this fragrance if you were looking for something more lavender and herbal mix....

SOS grade used in oil burner, M&P and CP soap. I love Palmarosa so was hoping for a more balanced scent. Could only smell the Lavender...it is a nice lavender however. Not a strong throw hot or cold as said by a few other reviewers, but just average....

Good dupe, I really like this one.You really get the lavender with subtle undertones of the palmarosa. I used ex con. in oil burner, and it was very strong. I also made lotion and found a little goes a long way. I bet it would make a great candle, I think that might be better than just using the oil burner. The sos would be better for the burner I bet....

This is a very well done scent, smells of "true" lavender in a way I've never yet found anywhere else. The Palmarosa is very subtle. It's quite close to the original. I have been using SOS concentration at 1oz PPO in CP soap. No acceleration, actually it seems to slow things down a bit if anything. The scent doesn't like to stick very well and I may go up to 1.2oz PPO, but it's still a bargain over essential oil and very good....

I never smelled the BBW version but this smells great. I have to agree with the other reviewer this is a very strong oil at the SOS concentration. It makes great incense.

For all you fellow soapers out there, this is a very strong FO even at the SOS concentration. I only used .7 oz per pound, and my soap smells nice and strong and delicious. It definitely wakes you up! And smells just like BBW!...
