strong out of the bottle, but got strangely weak on the wrist. didn't remind me much of the original shalimar at all.

I just love this scent! Perfect rendition of the original. So sexy a classic that a young or more mature woman can wear. It is sweet spicy and exotic. Bought in SNIFFIE.

I bought a sample of this in ex-con.
This doesn't smell exactly like Shalimar but it's very close. I think it needs a little more vanilla.
I mixed this with fractionated coconut oil to make a perfume oil (30% FO to 70% FCO).
The mixture turned cloudy and the fragrance oil always settles to the bottom. I have to shake the bottle every time before each use. I made sure my equipment was clean and dry before I bottled the perfume mixture so no water got into it. I'm slightly disappointed. Hopefully this gets reformulated....

I have not tried the original so I have nothing to compare but smelling it out of the bottle I hated it...put some on to see what it smellled like after dry down it took about 10 minutes later for the true fragrance to come through. and it was not too bad. Not my favorite but I think pretty nice....

This is in the same fragrance family as Shalimar, but lacks the clear citrus topnotes, rich vanilla and oppoponax that distinguish Shalimar. Strength is poor. I tested this in sugar/salt scrubs and bath oil applications. I used cosmetic grade, SOS concentration, at prescribed level. If I were to try this again I'd definitely get the Extreme strength....

Very disappointed in this fragrance. Purchased the Extreme and used in body powder and roll-on perfume oil. Customer stated that it smelled nothing like the Shalimar she thought it the fragrance was more like an Old Spice type...
