In a side by side blind comparison with a sniffer of the real fragrance in one hand, and a sniffer with the SOS in the other, 2 out of 3 picky children agreed that the SOS version was BETTER than the original. The same, but better. I don't know if that makes sense. In any event, this was mixed into unscented hand cream at 3% and it is divine....

I am giving this 5 stars as the scent is right on if you get the ulta. Unforutunately, I used it in my cold process soap recipe (trying to duplicate the Lovely from The Scent Works) and is seized up totally in my pot!! But we use it in lotion and body spray and it is great!...

Of all the scents I received in my most recent order, this one is my favorite! This one just smells gorgeous and sexy to me! Purchased Ultra concentration and I think it will work well for most of the applications I will use it for. Body cream, bath products etc. I put some on a piece of card stock this morning at 9am and it is now almost 10:30pm my time and the scent still remains unfaded at all. For people who just like their fragrances stronger then I would recommend Extreme. Have not smelled the original so I cannot say if it is a match but this will be one I will use for myself very frequently....

In XC it is amazingly close to the original. I didn't have high hopes for this one because Lovely seems like a difficult scent to dupe, but SOS did it! It's a very soft rounded patchouli scent and they captured it perfectly. It's not an "in your face" fragrance, neither is the original, so I would probably recommend Extreme Concentration if you want a strong fragrance....

Lovely is described the best by it's name...simply lovely! This is another of your light, sexy and confident florals, but yet a bit more. After reading so many reviews of the actual perfume, most say the same thing: OOB it doesn't smell as good as you've smelled on others, and perhaps even like want you'd want. But wearing it 'Lovely' springs to life, mixing with your natural chemistry to create a fragrances that truly is something wonderful! The fragrance oil from SOS did the exact same thing for me. I didn't like the FO OOB, but I do love it once I start wearing it from the bath. There are even many fragrance notes I thought I hated within it, but once on, it combines beautifully! This is definitely one to try, and perhaps even sneak little samples to all of your customers to help them try it too!...

An excellent dupe! I use the sos concentrate in shampoo, conditioner, and lotion bases with wonderful results. Now I would like to see how it fares in cp soap. Fabulous fragrance..long lasting, not overpowering. Another favorite!...

Excellent reproduction of the original, the best I've tried, in my opinion this dupe is dead on! Used in body oil - jojoba blend. Gorgeous!

I used the EC con to make candles. The fragrance is soft and feminine yet still very strong. All I had to do was take the lid off of the candle and it would light up the room. I really enjoyed using this particular fragrance and would definitely order again....

I was very happy with this one. It smells delicate, but not to faint. I got the sos con. and used it for lotion, body oil, and oil burning. It was great in all of these applications.

I've tried many Lovely versions and this one is the best! Very good. I usually purchase the cosmetic grade unless I'm making cp soap then go with manufactors grade. Excellent dupe!!!!

Whoops--I need to revise my review. I think I must have accidentally ordered the non-SJP version of the SOS fragrance that's also called Lovely. SOS saw my review and sent me the SJP version, and it's exactly like the original (which I still haven't smelled in person, but it's EXACTLY like the samples in magazines). I put a dab on and my daughter asked whether I was getting ready to go out! She never comments on my perfume, so that tells you something--plus I was only wearing jeans and a t-shirt at the time! So, please ignore my earlier review--this fragrance is very pretty and just like the original. Also, thanks to SOS for the great customer service!...

I only smelled Lovely in a magazine sample. This oil smells just like the sample. If you smell it out of the bottle, it smells strange, BUT putting it on your skin the scent smells so LOVELY. Its a soft, floral scent thats perfect for hot summer days....

Well, from reading the other reviews here, it looks like the SOS version is very close to the original, so please consider this a criticism of the original and not of the oil per se.
I haven't smelled the original Lovely, but boy howdy, to me it smells like Old Spice (or maybe Jade East--one of those aftershaves the boys at my high school wore 20 years ago). Obviously I'm an exception because everyone else seems to love it. I've tried it both as a personal fragrance and in an oil burner. Both times it was Old-Spice-y. But I guess that's just me....
