The smokiness is more background but still very atmospheric which is great because customers don't necessarily want to smell like a bbq. The cologne elements make this more sophisticated but also distinct and unusual. This is the kind of scent that you can use to seriously upscale your products ($50 soy candles) and differentiate from the zillion other scented things out there. Extreme for soy candles and SOS for lotions seems to work best....

this blend does make me think "woods" but definitely does not make me think "campfire"; it's woody and organic with a touch of sweetness, but lacks depth to the smoke note.

I had gotten a campfire fragrance from another vendor that was dead on so was excited to see it on SOS. This one, I actually thought maybe it was my nose so I had others smell it. It smells like cologne! Not at all like campfire!...

I would have to say that this doesn't smell like at campfire at all. I can barely detect some woody undertones, but really....barely. It doesn't smell bad though....just not what I was looking for.

I'm riding the fence on this one. I personally think it smells nothing like a campfire. As the other comments stated more like a cologne. BUT...my customers love it, especially as incense. I sell out of this all the time with few to no negative remarks. go figure?...

Love this one's spicy, woodsy smell! I got it as a sample. It could stand to be a bit stronger, but is otherwise very nice.

I'm really disppointed :( This smells nothing like a campfire...I don't even smell any wood undertones. It smells more like Old Spice cogne/deoderant to me. I almost called thinking I was sent the wrong fragrance, then I came to the site and saw the other reviews. I'll try to use it in my men's line, it may do well, but still disappointed that it wasn't at all as described....

This is neither a favorite or disapointment....my customers love it used as an incense. I'm going to try making tarts and see if it works for me there. It does have a masculine scent therefore it works well in male products....

This smells absolutely nothing like a Campfire. Huge disappointment. I was going to make a candle for my husband, who likes outdoorsy scents. This was used in soy wax and that scent throw was not fabulous. It smells like men's cologne. It is an ok cologne smell, but not a trace of campfire....

This is more perfumy rather than smelling like a smoky campfire. However it smells like a woody perfume, smells better than most expensive department store perfumes. I was hoping for a true smoky wood campfire smell though....
