Doesn\'t really smell like vanilla , very mild scent. SOS Response: This is not intended to smell like a vanilla, but instead the extract, pungent, thick heavy, medicinal and a bit vapor-y (like the alcohol whiff from the extract bottle)....

Got this as a sample. Too mild and doesn't quite smell like vanilla extract, but still nice.

Aveage, at best. They produce much better then this. SOS Response: We are currently working to reformulate this oil. Thank you for your input. At the time of completion of our reformulation, we will make a sample available to you and give you and opportunity to review again if desired....

sos concentrate. This doesn't quite smell like vanilla. It's tart and misses the mark of a true vanilla scent. I'd say it resembles a vanilla aroma without ever becoming one.

Used sos concentrate in soy candles. Not a true vanilla scent smelled more buttery, but could still smell the vanilla. All in all still a very nice smelling scent.

I call this one "Taste of Vanilla" because it smells good enough to eat!
