I am updating my review from last February. This scent sold very well in the fall and at Halloween vending gigs. The incense I made with Seance in the Ultra holds its fragrance quite well in storage.

Ordered in a sniffie. Not bad, but smells a little too strong of sandalwood for me. Would be great if you like sandalwood or a strong incense smell.

I absolutely LOVE this scent! It is deep, rich, sharp and would make a fabulous incense scent!
It has a rather dark mysterious and exotic scent to it that allows it to be absolutely different than any other scent that I have ever
smelled. I bought it as sniffie while back and I loved it so much I ended up buying a huge bottle! This going to be used in soy tarts and candles....

I got this in the Ultra for making incense. It has a sharp, brisk scent. It did not sell as well as I'd hoped, but enough that I will continue to carry it again.

I purchased this in XC to use as a blender in a seasonal limited edition perfume release for Halloween last year and my customers went NUTS for it. It is VERY powerful, so a light hand is a must (in my opinion) or it can be very overwhelming. It's definitely a very dark, rather sharp, oriental, heady blend - it's not a sweet scent at all in spite of what one would think based on some of the notes listed. It's definitely complex, but not "deep", if that makes sense in the least. A lot of my perfumes tend to have a really rich and enveloping base to them, a sort of roundness if you will - Seance doesn't have that on its own. It has many layers of scent, but it has an overall very ethereal and airy sort of vibe - think sharp night air and cold stone. It worked perfectly for the application I needed it for and the effect I was after. I will definitely use this again and again....

received a sniffie sample. its definitely in the oriental scent category. think opium, obsession..... I would use for my soaps and lotions for fall/winter.

I pick up on the candy notes mostly here which are pleasant but could have more of the earthy notes. Bought in SNIFFIE.

Love this fragrance. I use it in SOS for body products, candles and incense. People scream for more...I personally wear it, and would recommend it to anyone. If you like the "darker" more oriental fragrances - think of Opium, and Obsession - this scent is for you!...
