The rose is overwhelming in this -- I can't smell the patchouli at all. As a rose scent it's very nice, but if you want a rose-patchouli where the patchouli is noticable, I found I had to mix it with a like quantity of an actual patchouli oil (Patchouli Classic works well.) Got this as a sniffie along with a bunch of other patchouli scents, trying to find the perfect one....

Used SOS concentration in CP soap at 1 oz ppo. Excellent, rich rose aroma that doesn't evoke patchouli much. Compared to other SOS rose FO it is much richer and deeper bu still reads as rose. Held up nicely after a four-week cure. Ordering more....

Again, I think I got a bad batch of patchouli all around. I found this to be..well...awful. Too much like moldy potpourri. I'm gonna try again though because I really want to like it! Ordered sniffie sample. Sorry SOS for the bad review :(...

Great straight rose scent, easy to soap with in COLD PROCESS goats milk soap. Not enough Patchouli for me though!

I ordered the patchouli rose ultra concentrate and it smells wonderful! I had been ordering a patchouli rose perfume oil roll-on from another website at a much higher cost. SOS's version smells just as good, if not better! This scent has also proven to be very versatile in blending, it smells heavenly mingled with bergamot!...
