available in three concentrations. When viewing the fragrance,

NOTE: These recommendations are provided to give you an
"idea" of strength and benchmarks for you to determine your own
requirements. It is not a written guarantee that the fragrance oils
will behave exactly as listed below. As always, we recommend buying smaller sizes for testing to ensure your satisfaction.
Save On Scents SOS fragrance oils are designed
at strengths for formulations most commonly used in crafting. They
are comparable to other fragrance oils that you would normally find at
$15+/lb. or more. These fragrance oils are perfect for paraffin and container wax candlemaking,
incense making, melt and pour soapmaking, toiletries, oil burners, bath
and body products, potpourri, perfumery, etc.
Save On Scents Ultra Concentrates fragrance
oils are designed for a
more concentrated use and usage rate. These rates are outlined below
and are geared towards customers who require a stronger fragrance
oil for their applications. Ultra Concentrates are perfect for body oils, cold process soapmaking, soy candlemaking in addition to all other applications mentioned
above. These are comparable to fragrance oils that you would normally find
at $20+/lb.
Save On Scents Extreme Concentrates
fragrances oils are compounds in
their purest form. They are formulated for discounted usage
rates in order to save you money. These rates are outlined
below and are based on the formulas of the average crafter and perfumer. Extreme
Concentrates are extremely strong and you will need to adjust your
formulas accordingly. Extreme Concentrates are perfect for all
applications mentioned above. Because of their strength, we
recommend diluting them by AT LEAST 25% with a carrier oil to tone down
any harsh components for use as a perfume body oil. Extreme Concentrates
fragrance oils are comparable to those you would find at $48+/lb and body oils sold in this grade are usually sold in high end stores.
Bottling: SOS & ULTRA concentrations are shipped in HDPE
plastic bottles and our EXTREME Concentrates
are shipped in glass
bottles.
Availability: We
try hard to always have the oils you want. Due to high demand
we ship stocked fragrances within 1-4 business days upon receipt
of your order. In busy times of the year please allow a
little extra time for orders to be shipped. If we are backordered
on an item beyond 3 days, we will ship your order without it
and credit you any monies due. In these instances, we may
need to contact you for payment information for refunds.
Storage & Shelf Life: You should always store your fragrance
oils in a place that is cool, and shaded. Sunlight and
heat have an adverse effect on the shelf life, quality, and overall
strength of fragrance oils. The average shelf life on fragrance
oils can range six ( 6) months to two (2) years or more.
The shelf life will vary with each individual oil. If storing
any oil longer than six (6) months, we recommend re-pouring into glass
bottles to maintain fragrance integrity.
Direct contact with full strength oils may irritate skin or eyes.
Always use oils in a well ventilated area. Please
consult our online MSDS sheets on each fragrance we manufacture
for further safety information.
