Closely tied to the Oriental Accord is the Spice Accord with its notes and tones obtained from the varying tropical islands and port areas along the spice trade routes.  Influenced by spices such as clove, nutmeg, paprika, cardamom, turmeric, garlic, bay leaf, cinnamon, fragrances reflect the vibrant, rich, aromatic flavors of the culinary influences and incenses.  Fragrances in this family tend to be described as peppery, vibrant, green, herbal, earthy, full-bodied, sulfuric, burning and intense.
