True to SOS Description. Ordered in sniffie sample for perfume making. This oil is like rich deep exotic woods, lots of amber, a touch of sandal and slightly sweet.

I had been so curious about this, so I ordered a sniffy. I do get a faint woodsy smell out of the vial and I have been enjoying adding it to different musks to see if I can amplify some of their weaker notes....

So people who r looking for a smell from thiswill be disappointed. What isnt disappointing is the help in the perfumes blendingand adding power of allowing some perfumes to stay on ones body longer. Very nice Suttle umff...

A very faint, woody, sheer musk. Will blend admirably without being obtrusive. A great additive for perfumery. I tried the SOS concentration

Not really sure what to say about this. I was so excited to try it even though there were only two reviews. Ordered the Ultra concentration and I have sniffed straight from the bottle, applied it to a piece of card stock, and put it on my arm from wrist to elbow and there is no smell whatsoever. ??? Would not recommend this. Nor would I purchase again. Pretty bummed out by this one. SOS Response: This is not a stand alone fragrance, but an additive to help with others, typically musks. Those that are familiar with it should be satisfied by its character and performance. If you are looking for a strong fragrance by itself, this is not it....

I am so excited that I ordered this! Iso E super is like the magic ingredient in so many incredible perfumes, and the whole basis of Molecule 1 and many others. It gives a musky rich woodsy feel, and is used alot in perfumes that have cedar. It adds a wonderful depth, and as one well known perfumer once told me ,its like cat nip in perfumes! Its really addictive, it smells that good alone, and makes any fragrance you make smell fantastic! I will leave another review once I get it. Thanks you guys!:)...

A must for anyone dabbling in perfumery. The best fixative money can buy. Delicate yet all encompassing perfect amber-rich note. This is the mainstay ingredient in most any perfume currently on the market. Thanks SOS for adding this to the line....
