This scent smells just like a wood shop that was working with pine, or a shop that was made out of pine. It smells spot on! I love it!

SOS candlemaking. This one is another memory evoker. Not the sharp fragrance of treated pine, but an aged pine-fence kind of smell to me.

Not a horrid scent...but definitely not the sawdust I remember from being with my dad while he was building in the backyard...Starts out somewhat sweet...acquires a bit of a "dirt" smell...and ends up smelling a bit like motor oil before dissipating completely. When burned in a candle, it seems to smell like a charcoal fire...Not bad if you want to simulate a charcoal bbq...just not what I was looking for. :( Trying a mix with cedarwood chips and I'll see if that helps......

Similar to Yankee's new line of Man Candles, theirs aptly named "2x4" this fragrance also evokes the scents of cut planks of pressure-treated, ready for construction 2x4s and plywood! It may even be a an exact dupe! Sawdust is a rich neutral masculine note that's great AS IS and would easily work with tobacco, clove, cinnamon, leather, other woods and masculine musk FOs. Smells dusty, slightly sweet and full of rich dry pine notes that feature a slightly burnt characteristic that makes it very realistic. I'm going to pair it with SOS "Chalk" for a "Construction Worker" duel-layered candle! Used at SOS concentrate. Great for the manliest of mans! A surprisingly very useful FO that would blend with practically anything....
