First good basic coffee scent i have found. Does smell like coffee, unlike some that smell like vanilla or hazelnut. This doesn't have those distractions so much

Nice coffee scent - pretty strong. Has nice undertones to enhance the strength of this oil. When used as incense it burns black soot. Using it for perfume app this time instead.

I purchased this in ultra concentrate, 1oz. I used this in melt and pour soap. The initial scent was a bit sour, and didnt fully capture the black coffee scent.

I used this in CP soap with brewed coffee, coffee grounds, and coffee butter thinking I would have an awesome, over-the-top coffee smelling soap. So far, 10 days later, it smells like rubbing alcohol. I'm really hoping the curing time will bring out more coffee fragrance, or at the very least there will be no scent at all. If it improves I will review again....

I absolutely love this scent. It smells exactly like black coffee. I use it to make my melt and pour soaps and mixed paraffin and soy candles. My customers love this!

Received this scent as 1/2 Oz EXTREME SAMPLE. It is very useful top tone down a perfume disaster if you are building a perfume from scratch and it goes off the track. The black coffee kills it completely. If I want a coffee type fragrance for perfume or incense or candles I use the Cappuccino or Coffee scents that have sweets mixed in. This one is best for killing a bad perfume....

Unfortunately I cannot agree with most of the positive reviews as I did not find the coffee scent to be authentic, strong and have a true coffee bean aroma which is what I was expecting. When first sprayed on I got the strongest part of the coffee which faded....

I ordered a sniffie sample for CP soap. While true to a coffee scent it does have a subtle sweet scent about it.

Ordered in Extreme for use in perfume blends--this was exactly what I imagined it would be: a strong, sharp coffee scent, with a highly acidic edge. It easily overwhelms more delicate notes, so use sparingly if you plan on blending!...

Yep. This is coffee and it's black. Slightly bitter, not too sweet almost peppery and very true to smell. Like the beans were ground right in front of you and brewed right on the spot. Perfect coffee fragrance....

This smells exactly like brewed black coffee! There is a very subtle hint of a caramel sweetness to it, which I think helps adapt the fragrance to perfume or bath applications. Don't get me wrong, it's not a sugary sweet scent. The only thing I would do different next time is upgrade the concentration. (I purchased the SOS version.)...

Smells true to scent, rich, bold coffee notes. I ordered the xc-extreme, but I found I had to add just as much to my soap as I do with any other regular-strength scent, so that was a little disappointing. Still a great scent and beats all those sugary-sweet ones if you are looking for a true coffee aroma....

Extreme concentrate for men's oil blends and incense. I first tried the caramel coffee and swooned. I thought that the coffee wouldn't disappoint. It doesn't disappoint. It's wonderful and ignites old memories of far away places. I am going to have fun with this one....

Definitely smells like coffee, but coffee with sugar in it. It's a great coffee scent. A touch of sweetness and deep dark coffee. I find it smells much more like coffee once in a product or once blended than it does straight out of the bottle....

Extreme concentration is just amazingly true to the real thing. I love it. It is deep and rich and evocative. I think it may have its limits in perfumery, but you can't go wrong with this if you are looking for a realistic coffee scent....

I bought this oil in the extreme concentrate and I like i,t as it smells exactly like black coffee. When it is burned as incense there is a slight perfume smell that takes away from the coffee aroma. I would suggest this oil for use in bath and body products. If you were to use it in melt and pour soap and also add some coffee grounds as an exfoliate, you would have an awesome product that smell exactly like black coffee....
