This was a swap sample because the one I requested was out of stock. Not sure why they choose a gourmand frag as I don't buy them but whatever it was free so I can't really complain. It smells like a gourmand chocolate candle frag to me. Cloying sweet realistic cocoa. If your in the bath business I guess this could make a nice body butter frag. It smells better in quality than Aztec / Wellington iterations but it should at double the price. If I was inclined to invest my time I would mix it with oriental spice accords and top it with a strong citrus and build a base of amber to make a attar type gourmand out of it. But I'm not in the blending business...Why bother when there are so many already formulated winners in the SOS library....

Bought standard version and this is a must have favorite in my Incense Shop. A real favorite with a dark chocolate mint smell. Sells out constantly

Wow! This is one of the best chocolate oils I've ever smelled next to your chocolate truffle I can't decide which I love better they are amazing. Smells exactly like chocolate. Definitely ordering the pound....

I use the SOS conc. in solid perfumes and perfume oils. This is a very strong chocolate, I have to use it sparingly or it overwhelms. It has a nice, rich scent, not a milk chocolate but not exactly just a dark chocolate either....

I got this in the SOS concentration to use in soy wax. The scent itself is okay. I have smelled better chocolate fragrance oils, but this one is pretty good.

I use the SOS concentration in solid perfumes, and this is a strong chocolate. I only have to use a little to get a very nice, warm chocolate note in my perfumes.

A little powdery, a little artificial like a tootsie roll. Definitely not a dark smooth truffle. Pleasant but not the holy grail chocolate.

It actually smells more like dark chocolate in SOS Strength. Bought this time in SNIFFIE and its more Vanilla than Chocolate.

This is a very nice, chocolate-y scent, kind of all-purpose. I used the ultra strength in whipped shea butter and it was strong and yummy. I had someone do a "sniff" test (with a blindfold) and she immediately knew it was chocolate. A good, strong, general chocolate scent....

I used Ultra strength for CP soap. Scent holds up very well, whilst curing, slicing & washing! No acceIeration.
I used a little organic cocoa powder as a natural colour and a little unscented soap batter to do the drop swirl, so I don't know how using this particular oil would colour soap on its own. Probably tan or darker, due to the vanilla content. Perhaps check the other reviews for pointers.
This is more a rich dark chocolate rather than milk. Very luxurious!...

I like this fragrance a lot. My boyfriend does not like it. I think it is very potent in a good way. I think it mixes well with many other scents. My boyfriend doesn't like me even opening the bottle. I mixed it with fishing pier and sold several bags of incense....

It smells like a tootsie roll not of a deep, rich chocolate. Either way, I paired it with some fennel and cinnamon and I got something that smelled like a double chocolate cookie, I was happy for that. I had extreme concentration, so maybe it just needed some diluting....

The truest and most gorgeous chocolate scent ever! Smells like a hot chocolate drink. Sweet, deep and mouthwatering! Only reason why this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because even in extreme concentration and uncut , it wasn't nearly strong enough for use in my perfume oils. Faded in about 15 minutes. :(...

If you are looking for something that smells exactly like chocolate syrup, look no further! This is a rich chocolate that many will like alone. I use it as a mixer in oils and it plays nicely with other fragrances. The Standard concentration is perfect for what I'm using this fragrance for....

I purchase this in EC. It reminds me of whipped chocolate and dances beautifully in the air. Although I am not quite sure what is missing it doesn't take away from the 5 stars! I am using it in shower gel, lotion and body spray. This scent lasts a long time and is very strong which is good because that means more profit for me!...
