Good realistic clove baking spice. Not the sharp spice of anaesthetic clove oil, if that's what you're looking for. This review is based on first skin testing; I have not tried blending it into anything yet. I patch tested the extreme concentration sniffie directly without dilution and experienced no skin irritation....

Purchased the ULTRA and it is so weak I can't even detect a scent at all! I've been using this scent FOR YEARS. So dissapointing

The perfect clove note. I blended this with firewood and tobacco for a smokey sample perfume and it was lovely. Ordered in a SOS Sniffie and it was just the right strength.

(Ex. Con.) Strong OOTB. This smells more like ground cloves rather than clove buds. It is lightly sweet and spicy without being too bitter!

This scent is sweet and spicy! Exactly how the cooking spice smells. So exotic and rich! I absolutely LOVE it! :) This scent is going to be used in soy wax and tarts and was bought as the regular concentrate....

A bright, clean and spicy clove. Exactly like Clark's Teaberry chewing gum. That being said, the SOS-strength sample I received was surprisingly mild in intensity (considering how overpowering clove can be). Maybe a good thing for controlling doses, now that I think about it. If you want a solid punch of clove, get a stronger concentration....

I purchased in SOS and was extremely pleased with the way it blends with my other fragrances. I don't think it could stand alone for a good clove fragrance. I use my blends in paraffin candles and tarts....

I got this in ultra as a gift for a friend to use in an oil burner and it was way different than another clove I was used to. Would try something else next time

I got a sample of Clove Oil and liked it so much that I purchased a bottle. This fragrance is very nice for the holidays. I got the UC for incense-dipping and think it will be a hit. It's not as strong as I had expected it would be, but sometimes with spicy fragrances, understated is better. Very nice....

A sweet, mild, woody clove. Not as acrid or medicinal as a bottle of real cloves, but in this case I think the difference is very positive. I'd call this "friendly clove". A brilliant mixer that adds warmth to other spice notes, bakery notes, and resins like amber and frankincense....

The first time I ordered this, I LOVED it. The second time I got it it smelled completely different... not good and NOTHING like clove at all. What happened? (We've sent sent a replacement)
