i'm unfamiliar with the original. to my nose, this smells pleasant but slightly characterless--some spice, some pine, some wood.

I ordered a sniffie sample for CP soap. As soon as I smelled this I wanted to dump it on my husband! The scent is definitely worth getting!

A few of our older customers don't like change so this was a super hit, great in goats milk soaps, lotions, and cremes. Ultra was my choice. Thanks for an excellent product.

This fragrance starts out close to Aramis, but not an exact duplicate to my nose -- too much pine, maybe. As it dries down, it gets closer to Aramis' signature scent. Aramis is still probably a bit more deep and complex. Nevertheless, this fragrance is a good copy, and a good fragrance in its own right. It is quite strong even in SOS concentration....
