I have not smelled any of the perfumes that the other reviewers have commented on, and I ordered a sample of this completely on a whim because it sounded intriguing. This fragrance is rich and sensual, complex enough that I couldn't possibly describe any individual notes, but I absolutely adore it. I am a fan of darker fragrances with a lot of "bottom", which the certainly is. I received the Ultra concentration, and I have used it in hair products and body spray, with excellent results. If you make body sprays or oils, please note that this is a very heavy fragrance, and it doesn't mix well with cyclomethicone or MCT. It did dissolve well in alcohol, and had no problems mixing with an oil-in-water emulsion. I will definitely purchase this again in a lager bottle for soaps and candles!...

ordered the sniffie in SOS concentration. I own a bottle of the original. While it is a very dark, rich fragrance it is most definitely closer in smell to one of the older Estee Lauder fragrances then this House of C original. It smells cheap(ish) on the blotter. Does not interest me enough to try in body care products or incense....

The original perfume that this was formulated to "dupe" is my hands down all-time favorite scent - EVER. It has been for 20 years now. It's a shame this is rated only as 4 stars because I very nearly skipped over it without a second glance. Boy! Am I ever glad I took a second look! The original designer house perfume is SO expensive in their parfum extrait concentration that it's absurd, so I very rarely buy it for myself and when I do I hoard it. I've been out of it for awhile now, so thought on my last order here at SOS that I'd at least give this one a chance. I purchased the Extreme, and yes, as the other poster stated, it's very strong (that's the point of concentrated fragrance oils, no?). As such, it is very hard to evaluate straight from the bottle. I'll admit that when I first took a whiff straight from the bottle myself, I wasn't sure about it. After using it at ratio of 20% FO to 80% perfumer's alcohol, however, I must say it is unbelievably close to the real thing. I'd have...

Years ago I had a bottle of the real Chanel fragrance that this is their take on - its very close. If I didn't already know better, I would think it is the real deal. Very sophisticated and complex fragrance, just like all the popular fragrances of the designer house. I love wearing this for an evening out!...

This is not what the other reviewer stated - it is a "Channel" type (minus the extra N) - and you have to email them for what "Channel" (minus the extra N) type it smells like - they get back to you very fast. They just made up the name "Ekho" for a very very popular Channel (minus the extra N) fragrance - and it clearly states that it is NOT the Davidoff version......

I\'m not sure what the other reviewer was talking about! If this smelled anything like Davidoff Echo, I would give this product 10 stars because ECHO is one of my favorite perfumes. Davidoff Echo is discontinued so I was hoping to find a body oil just like it. Since SOS warned us that Ekho is not a Davidoff duplicate, to be fair I will stop comparing it to Davidoff.
I found this scent to be very overpowering in a bad way. It smells awfully strong and it looks dark like dirty water. I am not good at recognizing different notes but this is a fragrance I truly dislike. I don\'t mind strong scents as long as they smell good but I don\'t think this smells good. Maybe it would be nice on someone else but not me.
SOS RESPONSE: This is not a Davidoff duplication. That is Echo Davidoff Type. This is another feminine fragrance entirely -- one of a popular perfume house that we renamed....

Very well, smell the same. I took the ulta concentrated: body products, candles and oil burning. Super as usual
