This is not roasted hazelnuts if you was expecting that. Strong, more of a blender, which is what I would do with this scent. Yummy when blended with a coffee scent.

SOS strength for Candle making, palm wax. used 50-50 with chocolate decadence, gives a nice nutty/chocolate scent. I was hoping more for Nutella fragrance. Very strong fragrance, do not expect the toasted hazelnut fragrance with this one. it is as the description suggests: natural and raw hazelnuts, delicious but intense!...

A very realistic smell of unsweetened hazelnut. Good stuff--I had some hazelnuts on hand and was able to compare directly. This is a very versatile scent note. Alone it has a nut-skin bitterness that keeps it fresh and blended with other resinous or woody base notes it rounds them out with a meatiness most other bases don't have. Definitely NOT a candy scent, so you can spin it however you like. Very friendly with cedar and patchouli....

(Extreme concentration) This is spot on and very strong. Make sure to drop it in little by little as a note, as it has a tendency to overwhelm. Example: I used 20 g of a dark chocolate and 5 g of the hazelnut. The hazelnut still managed to overpower the dark chocolate. Also, there is no sweetness to this - bear that in mind when giving it a try. Blend it with something sweet in order to make it palatable....

Based on Past Reviews I was hoping for a more dirty hazelnut scent to use as a blender, and this didn't disappoint. It's very earthy, but not acrid. Mellow like toasted hazelnuts, without the sweetness. The rawness is very pervasive, but that particular quality makes it a great universal blender for masculine scents. I use it to mellow out abrasive floral scents. Smells great mixed with cedarwood and clove! Used Ultra....

I use this oil in the Ultra concentration, and it is wonderful! As described, it does not work well on its own, but when blended with vanilla, coffee, bourbon, or caramel, it brings a true hazelnut scent to the party. I've used it in CP soap, lotion, body spray, whipped soap, and perfume oil. It's very popular with my customers in all the blends, and a little goes a LONG way....

This is horrible, horrible. Just used 5 drops of the Extreme in a 32 oz. batch of lotion. It really stunk. I had to add some expensive vanilla EO and it still smelled bad. My lotion is just ruined. It smells like a boat load of melted rubber. SOS Response: This is a very very strong scent of raw hazelnuts, not a candied hazelnut....

I was a little leary of trying this scent due to the initial review. However, throwing caution to the wind I purchased 1 lb of extreme and mixed it with some vanilla for oil burning and my apartment smells YUMMY. I love scent and will buy again....

Most horrid scent EVER! Nothing like hazelnut. Very BAD!
I love this company but not this scent!<p>SOS Response: This fragrance is more of a blender than to be used on its own. It is overpowering out of the bottle so use sparingly. It is neither sweet nor candy-like, nor is it toasty, but instead like a boatload of raw shelled hazelnuts....
