I got this in a sniffie size for testing and it smells just like the real thing! I combined this with smoke and it was a wonderful masculine woodsy smell my friends loved. Will definitely be buying more as it is perfect for fall scents!...

Two words: dead on! Smells exactly like the air in the old neighborhood on a winter day, when everyone had a cozy fire in the fireplace! Thank you so much for bringing back wonderful winter memories. :)...

(Extreme) This fragrance oil is quite accurate. Upon opening the bottle, I felt like I was walking past the fresh embers of a campfire. It blends well into more masculine scents.

I purchased the standard concentration. This is an awesome fragrance, smells like a wood-burning stove. It's a nostalgic scent that is smoky, ashy and woodsy. So many possibilities in home fragrances! You'll definitely want to pick up some of this for holiday candles!...

I tried this in a sniffie and I absolutely loved it. It smells like a cord of fresh-cut firewood that's just been tossed on a fire. I used it in a fragrance blend for perfume oil and it added just a tiny bit of smokiness along with the wood. I'm picking up a larger bottle for future perfumery....

Where as "Smoke" is sweeter, Firewood is drier and more ashy. Soot-like with a hint of charred wood. Very nice and realistic. Not as strong as Smoke, but more realistic in it's subtle approach. A perfect blender fragrance. Used ultra....

Strong liquid-smoke aroma, hardly any woody smell detected. Would be much improved if the smoky scent were toned down.

After reading all of the great reviews of this fragrance, I was super excited to get it to make some incense. Although it did have a scent of burning wood, it smelled more like the scent of a freshly blown out candle....hot, smoldering wick. I'm a little disappointed with it but figure I will combine it with other woody fragrances....

I have all my home made incense on a shelf in my work room. I just walked past and could smell the firewood clear as day! It is strong and smells exactly like a fire burning :) It has a great scent throw in cold wax and incense and is spot on in incense. Haven't burned the candle yet....

This smells absolutely wonderful, though it has more of a smoke tone to my nose than pure firewood. I was disappointed that I couldn't not get a hot throw from this in soy; however, I only bought a 1 oz sample of the SOS concentration, which might make a big difference. If you like smoke tones though, I encourage you to try this out for yourself. It is spot on and smells fantastic....

Blends of dried wood, and a light charred smell reminiscent of cutting wood with a saw. Smells a lot like a fall fire. This is one of my favorite scents so far. Smells sweet out of the bottle but burning the oil (mine in a paraffin candle using the SOS) smells just like a fire to me. A must try....

SOS is a HUGE HIT! My customers absolutely adore this in my soy candles... I pair it with a crackling wick.

One of my all time favorite scent oils by this company! Amazing scent, good throw in multiple application types, and a wonderful way to bring depth and heart to many scent blends. Smells exactly like true firewood, with even the accurate smokey tones of it burning....

Very nice scent. It truly does smell like a fire in the fireplace. I purchase the SOS, blend it with Cedar 1/2 ratio, and use it as an incense. It is a very good seller! I have it as a body oil as well, and it sells well during the winter months. I would recommend getting a sniffie of it, along with cedar and see what you think. Overall a stellar scent by SOS - you guys rock!...

Ok , folks this one is impressive . I bought the extreme concentrate and I was afraid it would be something that I'd never use. Boy was I wrong, I love it! It reminds me of my grandmothers old wood furnace and the stacks of firewood next to it. I will be ordering this one again in a larger size....

As a child, my parents would almost always have a fire burning in their fireplace during the winter months. I absolutely love the smell and this fragrance oil is extremely accurate. I received it as a free sample (SOS concentration) with my last order and I am very pleased. OOB, it smells as if it will have a hint of spice, but in the final burning incense, it is pure firewood. Smokey, yes, but it most certainly has a strong charred wood scent. This would be a great background scent for holiday blends, but I think it can stand on its own just fine for those of us who love the smell of a roaring fire....

If you're thinking of buying both this oil as well as the 'smoke' oil offered here, also, don't. This smells just like the smoke oil, no firewood. Smells delicious, but it's just a disappointment that its scent resembles nothing of real firewood....
