I bought a sample of this in extreme for CP soap making. I like the smell. On my skin it smells like a nice, clean, almost Oriental perfume. In fact, if I buy it again I may use it for that. I made a very basic soap with coconut, Palm, and canola oil. I needed the soap at a very thin trace for what I was doing but when I added the fragrance oil it thickened up to a thick pudding consistency almost immediately. To be fair I've never used this exact soap recipe, but I've also never experienced any soap thickening up quite that quickly either. If the fragrance lasts as others are saying I'm sure I'll love the soap anyway because it is a very nice unisex fragrance....

Goes on as a great, deeply layered tea scent with orange notes, but as it dries it develops a doughy sandalwood note on me that I really dislike. Used in blends that tone that down, this would be useful, but I will stick with SOS's plain Tea scent, which smells exactly like black, dried tea leaves. I'm sure this will work great for other applications, but me and the sandalwood don't get along. I've graded it at four stars for complexity, execution, longevity and accuracy, but I won't be buying it for myself. I tried the SOS concentration...

Every once in a while, you end up with a fragrance that surpasses your expectations. When I purchased this, I was expecting a simple, single note oil I could use in blends. Tea (Pekoe) has such a deceptively simple name. But what arrived was a fully developed, unique fragrance that really required nothing else to smell complete. I would describe it as a woody, sweet, slightly spicy, slightly fruity, tea fragrance. Honey, amber incense, woody, apricot tea perhaps? It is not a "bright" or "clean" fragrance -- it has a lot of depth and many layers as it dries down and has a sophistication about it. There is a lot going on here. In fact, if you were to smell this at a Serge Lutens boutique, I don't think it would smell at all out of place. Definitely unisex or an interiors fragrance. Outside of the sweetness, I don't feel this is particularly feminine, not that a woman couldn't wear it. For those familiar, it reminded me a lot of the "Black Tibetan Tea" fragrance, although that comparison ...

A great scent! Used in CP soap, held up great (SOS strength). Customers really liked this one! Will definitely buy this again. I am going to try this in a room/body spray.

I really like this one. I love the smell of tea and this fits the bill. It is tea, with a mild perfumey tone to it. I like it just the way it is but I think it will be nice as a blend as well.

I got this as a sample. The oil is not black like the picture you see. I like the smell of this scent. I smell tea and dried citrus and may even current. I think that it would make a nice fall scent.

A fresh pot of tea is what puts me in the mind of. Try adding sm amount of new musk and sea salt. Makes the atmosphere real peaceful. Just a suggestion. I like new and original scents. This works well together....

Smells like Sun Tea...if you like the smell of tea then this is for you. I'm not crazy about the smell of sun tea so I am not sure what to use this one in. I received this as one of my samplers. Not sure of strength-it's either sos conc. or Extreme-bottle wasn't marked...
