Ordered a sniffie sample and tested its dry down on a piece of cotton. I had never contemplated the scent of dust before, but somehow this woody scent does have that sort of quality to it that reminds me of old wooden and neglected shelves. As a fan of 'musty old cabin' sorts of scents, personally I really like this one. Could work well in a variety of creative atmospheric concept blends like old library/cabin, tool shed, cellar, antiques, etc....

This SOS sniffie smells nice.....I'm not sure if it really smells like "dusty wood" though. More like green pine wood, but nice all the same.

This scent smells just like a woodshop that was working with pine, or a shop that was made out of pine. It smells spot on! I love it!

SOS candlemaking. Reminds me of walking into pop's old shed years after he's long gone. Dusty wood and old memories.

Definitely get a dusty note, and wet green wood. Strong in Extreme.

I used these oils in perfume making so I'm looking for atmospheres. This one does have that hint of a dusty wooden area, but there is cinnamon in here somewhere and one on the skin that's about all I can smell. Maybe some cedar, a touch of camphor and loads and loads of cinnamon. This might be better in candles, and it's actually a very pleasant scent; Dry, woody, smoothly blended. It will perhaps work better in candles or soaps. I tried the SOS concentration, Points for smelling nice, but fewer points for not smelling to me of Dusty Wood...
