I detect dusty metallic notes, cool green notes, some kind of wood, faint forest floor and something vaguely floral. I haven't sniffed a lump of coal for a long time, and while I'm pretty sure this isn't accurate, it will work very well in novelty candles/soaps as a Christmas item. The cool metallic dust could act as a stand in for coal if the visual stimulus suggests it, and even without the name, it's a very pleasant scent without being actually masculine or mechanical. I have the SOS concentration and definitely plan to order more so I can have Lump of Coal soaps for Christmas stockings come that time....
