Purchased in Extreme Concentration. The fragrance is accurate to its description. The smell out of the bottle is the same as in my candles. This WILL discolor your wax.

UPDATED REVIEW: After sampling the reformulated version of Candy Pail, I must say, it is MUCH better! The fun, nostalgic scent that was desperately trying to reveal itself in the old version is now up front & center. OOB, the scent first comes at you with creamy chocolate/tootsie roll vibes, but the drydown is everything you expect this fragrance to smell like. I can now say that the description is dead on. Imagine sticking your head in one of those plastic pumpkins that children use to collect their candy at Halloween and taking a big whiff of all the goodies inside. That's what Candy Pail smells like. An array of Halloween candies, still in their wrappers, and that very faint smell of the plastic pumpkin. (Note: This is NOT a plastic-y scent.) Good job on the reformulated version SOS! This is a great Halloween scent for both kids and adults. [Tested on skin.]...

Based on reviews, I was really looking forward to this oil. Unfortunately, the scent is almost non existent, OOB and on skin (I make perfumes.) If you try really hard and keep sniffing, you'll pick up on a little of what could be a great Halloween scent. I got this as a "sniffie" sample, and since those come in EC, I can only imagine that it smells of water in lower concentrations....

Candy pail smells really good and it actually smells like candy. Only thing is it smells better on your skin and it smells different in bottle. All in all great oil.

This fragrance oil should win awards; its accuracy is uncanny! What an inordinately challenging fragrance to capture, mixed candy in a plastic jack o' lantern. SOS did it brilliantly.
It is quite strong in Extreme, just how I like it; will throw beautifully in paraffin.
As a Halloween Queen, this is my hands down favorite. Please never discontinue this SOS!...

I'm not sure what the reviewer who said this isn't sweet was smelling, because this is 100% candy. It's wonderful, very much like candy corn, cotton candy and sweet tarts in a plastic jack o'lantern. It needed a touch more chocolate to really sell the Halloween candy pail, but that's easily remedied with SOS's wonderful Dark Chocolate oil. This was popular even unblended with all my co-workers, even though they all like different things out of perfume. I will be purchasing this one for soaps and scents for sure. A new favorite....

Not a bad scent! It smells like a bucketful of treats! I smell sweet scents like vanilla and candy corn but also a slight hint of chocolate underlining.This scent is going to be used in soy wax and tarts and was bought as the regular concentrate...

This scent is very halloweeny. It is not a sweet candy smell - it is dark and mysterious. We bought it regular strength for incense. It did not sell alot on its own. We mixed it with other sweet smells and called it Sweet Mix and we sold many of them as bug repellant. I am thinking it would mix well with a milk chocolate....

I smelled this in the extreme...it's a yummy strong candy scent. It reminds me of candy corn but without the buttery undertone of candy corn. It's a fun sweet scent if you have the need for this type of fragrance in your line....
